Why did my chat expire after 24 hours? expand_more

Yankı is designed to encourage meaningful, timely connections. A chat ends when 24 hours are up or when either side has reached the per-person limit of 50 messages; there is no in-chat extension. A Premium subscription increases your concurrent chat limit by +1 (one more chat slot).

How do I report someone for inappropriate behavior? expand_more

Safety is our top priority. To report a user, tap the three dots (...) in the top right corner of your chat window and select "Report User". Our safety team reviews all reports within 2 hours.

Can I change my notification sound? expand_more

The notification sound is not customizable; a single Yankı alert sound is used. You can only turn push notifications on or off in Settings > Notifications.

Does matching use my location? expand_more

No. Yankı does not collect or use location; matches are not based on where you are.

When does a chat end? expand_more

A chat ends automatically when 24 hours have passed or when either side has reached the per-person limit of 50 messages. There is no option to extend a chat; Premium only increases your concurrent chat limit by +1.
